01

See the city, at your pace

The Great Wall, the Forbidden City and Tiananmen Square are places you can ask us to include. Your interests, the clinical team’s guidance and the confirmed visit schedule shape the plan.

  • Tell us which places interest you.
  • Discuss walking distances, rest breaks and transport before confirming a route.
  • Check the agreed arrangements before setting out.
02

Your driver and language support

Your driver-interpreter can also help you explore the city. Transport and interpretation may be handled by one person or two, depending on the schedule. We confirm who will accompany you and what is included in your written plan.

03

Clinic visits come first

Outings as you recover and as the team allows — the city is part of the month, not a distraction from it. Sightseeing is planned around your clinic visits and cleared with the medical team first. The coordinator organizes the practical arrangements; your clinicians decide whether an activity is appropriate.

04

A day beyond Beijing

Special requests are welcome, including day trips beyond Beijing. Tell us what you have in mind so we can discuss a same-day return, the practical arrangements and the clinical team’s permission before confirming the trip.

05

How to plan an outing

Start with your interests and the support you would find useful. There is no need to choose a fixed sightseeing itinerary before your clinical schedule is clear.

  • Share your preferred places and who would join you.
  • Confirm the clinical team’s activity guidance.
  • Agree the date, route, transport, language support and included services.
  • Keep follow-up visits and the hospital’s travel advice at the centre of the plan.
